Welcome!! There are 4 classroom rules. Each of the following rules explain the expectations and procedures in my classroom.

Class Rule #1: BE PROMPT! Be on time to class and take your seat

Class Rule #1: BE PROMPT! Be on time to class and take your seat promptly to begin the class. The 9: 10 bell means class starts. You are tardy after the 9: 10 bell. Go to your locker and the RESTROOM between classes. When you enter the classroom, READ the agenda on the board and write classwork and homework in your agenda.

Class Rule #1: BE PROMPT! Sharpen pencils BEFORE the 9: 10 bell. ONLY sharpen pencils in the electric sharpener. Sharpen color pencils in the hand sharpener on the wall.

How to make up work if you are absent: 1. After 5 pm the

How to make up work if you are absent: 1. After 5 pm the day you are absent: Go to Durham Web Page 2. Check my blog by clicking on the Faculty/Staff tab at the top of the page 3. Go to 7 th grade Science, Troy White 4. Look for the instructions for your block to find the agenda from the day you are absent 5. Write in your agenda any assignments/handouts you missed. 6. Upon your return, you may ask me for your missing work when you get to my class.

This is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY!! Submit completed assignments into your Block Box. Stay seated during pack up & while you wait on the bell.

Class Rule #3: BE COOPERATIVE Raise your hand to talk and stay in your seat at all times. Always push your chair in when leaving the room. Be responsible for your property and the school’s property. Always use a basket for supplies. While the teacher or a student is talking, please give him/her your complete attention. Never walk in front of or between a speaker or people talking. Listen respectfully and acknowledge other’s opinions. Be kind. Use manners and help others.

Class Rule # 4: BE RESPECTFUL! Be honest. Display academic and behavioral integrity. Tell the truth!! Approach each day with a positive attitude. No horseplay (running and playing) in the classroom, the halls, the restroom, or the media center.

Classroom Computer Rules (Follow Laptop guidelines) Be RESPECTFUL of the school laptops/desktop Use only the laptop number you are assigned (write the # in your agenda Hold the laptop with TWO hands Stay in your seat at all times when using the laptops Raise your hand if you need help or can help a friend Get permission to go help a friend with the computer. The teacher must give you PERMISSION to PRINT!!
