Entering the Classroom • Students will enter the classroom quietly at all times • Quickly go to assigned seats and prepare learning area • Promptly begin Journal assignment!(Google Classroom Daily Instructions)

Turning In Homework/Class Work • It is our class expectation that all assignments will be turned in on time and completed to the best of our ability. • Please read instructions carefully when completing Google Classroom assignments. • Parents will be contacted if assignments are not completed.

WHILE YOU WERE OUT • Students are responsible for completing all missed assignments. • Students should always check the following sites when out. 1. Google Classroom 2. Mrs. Moore’s Teacher Site

Mrs. Moore’s Desk • Organization is very important in our classroom. • Please respect my personal areas. • Raise your hand be acknowledged before approaching Mrs. Moore’s workspace. • Please refrain from touching or moving items in the classroom without permission.

Quieting the Class/Hallway Procedures/Emergencies • Universal Hand Signal/Lights Off/Whistle. When I raise my hand, all students follow my example and all activity ceases. DEMO • We will quietly move in the hallway at all times. We will respect our fellow students who are in the process of learning. Walk in a single file line, facing forward. • EMERGENCY In the event of an emergency school wide procedures will be followed. Students please grasp the seriousness of these drills/situations. We are responsible for the safety of each other.

STAR OF THE WEEK • Each week a student will be selected in each class to be “This Week’s Star” • Student will handle several duties. These include, but are not limited to, picking up and delivering office correspondence, passing out materials, etc. • Please show our stars the utmost respect. They are essential to the success of our class.

Classroom Facts • When we celebrate in the classroom we will do so with “Silent Parties”. • Supply Loan Program – Please return any borrowed items before leaving class (pencils, crayons, etc. ) • There is no place for “I can’t”, “I don’t get it”, and “I give up” in this classroom. Choose your words wisely. • Journals will be used daily. Date/Standard/Summary (Demo)

End of Class Dismissal • Mrs. Moore dismisses the class. • Student areas are to be cleaned properly. Check floor and surrounding areas for trash. • Quietly await dismissal.
