Classified Evaluation System • The Evaluation system for classified employees was revised effective 7/1/2013. • The new system utilizes two forms: – A Rubric which provides a brief narrative for each performance rating in each competency area – A Summary Form which provides the ratings for each competency area, the overall rating, and comments areas.
Evaluation Summary Form
Competancy areas to be evaluated • Two areas of Job Performance and two areas of Professionalism are included in the Rubric and on the Summary Form – Task and Technical Skills – Effectiveness and Productivity – Customer Service – Compliance with Rules
Compentency areas • Within each competency there are components that will be evaluated and rated based on a worksheet that is called a Rubric. • The Rubric is designed to help define the standards of performance and communicate to each employee how a specific rating was determined.
