Classified Evaluation System • The Evaluation system for classified employees was revised effective 7/1/2013.

Classified Evaluation System • The Evaluation system for classified employees was revised effective 7/1/2013. • The new system utilizes two forms: – A Rubric which provides a brief narrative for each performance rating in each competency area – A Summary Form which provides the ratings for each competency area, the overall rating, and comments areas.

Competancy areas to be evaluated • Two areas of Job Performance and two areas

Competancy areas to be evaluated • Two areas of Job Performance and two areas of Professionalism are included in the Rubric and on the Summary Form – Task and Technical Skills – Effectiveness and Productivity – Customer Service – Compliance with Rules

Compentency areas • Within each competency there are components that will be evaluated and

Compentency areas • Within each competency there are components that will be evaluated and rated based on a worksheet that is called a Rubric. • The Rubric is designed to help define the standards of performance and communicate to each employee how a specific rating was determined.

Supervisors will review the ratings of each component during the evaluation conference. The Rubric

 • After your evaluation conference you will be asked to sign the Evaluation
