Rules and Expectations 1. Be kind and respectful to everyone. 2. Come prepared with a positive attitude. 3. Show respect to classroom and classmates’ property. 4. Remain in your seat and raise your hand if you have a question or concern. 5. Food and leaving the room for any reason is under teacher approval. 6. Stay on task.
Discipline Plan Extreme behavior will result in a direct office referral. All other discipline actions will follow the 5 -Step: Step 1: Warning Step 2: Re-assigned Seating Step 3: Silent Lunch / Parent Contact Step 4: Parent Conference Step 5: Office Referral
Grading Daily Participation (class participation, proper preparations and positive attitudes) Projects (includes Art Production, use of the Elements & Principles of Art, Participation & Completing Projects on time)
Materials Needed for Class Sketchbook (Can be purchased at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Wal. Mart or you an purchase a composition book; for 4 th and 5 th grade only. All other grades are optional. ) You will need a pencil with an eraser for every class. Pens are not acceptable for drawing unless approved for specific projects. Donations for the classroom are always appreciated.
