For each problem, your group must come up with a solution in 5 minutes. You then must report back to the main meeting! You don’t enough money to fix the problem completely. You should think about ALL the individuals involved before coming up with your solution. You can ONLY come up with your solution using the type of government you were given.

MONARCHY King/Queen makes decisions w/o the citizens having much of a say. Leadership : First person alphabetically by last name is the King/Queen. DEMOCRACY Individuals elect representatives to make decisions for them. Leadership : Hold an election in your group to choose the leader. OLIGARCHY 2 leaders make decision together for the group. DICTATORSHIP Dictator does what he/she chooses and others do as they are told. Leadership : Last person alphabetically by last name is the Dictator. AUTOCRACY Leader makes the decisions that are “best” for the people…. . w/o argument. Leadership : Leader is the OLDEST person. Leadership : 2 leaders are the two TALLEST people in the group.
