Students will help to build a better world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB is different from other curricula because it: • Encourages students to think critically and challenge what they are told and is independent of governments and national systems, and therefore able to incorporate best practice from a range of international frameworks and curricula • Encourages students to consider both their local and international environment. Advanced Placement Classes Want to earn College Credit while still in High School? The Advanced Placement Program at Thornridge High School takes great pride in our commitment to excellence. The AP Program strives for rigorous curriculum and opportunities for advanced studies and help prepare students for future endeavors of higher learning. MTSS is a professional learning initiative of the Illinois State Board of Education. It is a evidence-based model of schooling that uses data-based problem-solving to integrate and behavior instruction and/or intervention. Interventions are delivered to students in varying intensities based on student needs. MTSS Student Success Plans are created so resources reach appropriate students at appropriate levels to accelerate performance of all students to achieve and/or exceed proficiency.
