Kansas Scholars Curriculum – pg. 10 Students who complete the Kansas Scholars Curriculum will receive a certificate from the Kansas Board of Regents and may be considered for scholarships through the Kansas State Scholars Program. • 4 English • 4 Math-Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and 1 upper level course • 3 Science (Must be Biology, Chemistry, Physics) • 3 Social Science • 2 Foreign Language (Must have 2 years of one language)

PHS Schedule Change Policy: What you need to know… - pg. 7 • • You need to take this step of the process very seriously. The course change policy will be strictly enforced. Remember…If you COMMIT to a course and you are CAPABLE, you will be expected to COMPLETE the course. This includes year long courses. You will not be allowed to drop any course that is listed on your course request sheet.

The student has not met the prerequisite for the class. The student has an incomplete schedule. A teacher recommends the student advance to a higher level course or that the student moves out of the course due to failure of 1 st semester. IF YOU WANT A SCHEDULE CHANGE TO REQUEST A SPECIFIC TEACHER, IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

What happens next? 1. 2. 3. 4. Fill out your enrollment sheet. Choose classes that YOU are interested in. Have your parent/guardian sign your enrollment sheet. Discuss your course choices with your parent/guardian. On February 5 & 6 counselors will come back to the middle school to let you put your course requests in to Skyward. You MUST have your enrollment form completed and signed in order to enroll.
