What is in the current draft and the issues • Feedback mechanisms – Feedback header type 0110 • 12 bits bitmap and maximum 4 CQI’s are reported • Rank and MIMO type are not reported – Feedback header type 1101 – CL MIMO type 010 • 1 average CQI (5 bits), 1 wideband PMI(6 bits), and wideband rank (2 bits) are reported • The Wideband reporting doesn’t show the gains of the CL-MIMO – (doesn’t leverage the gains of the frequency selective scheduling) – REP-REQ, REP-RSP messages • • Type 2. 2: 12 bits bitmap and 4 bestband CQI’s (20 bits) Type 2. 4: 12 bits bitmap and 5 bestband CQI’s (25 bits) Rank and MIMO type are not reported Overhead is high – needs to send REP-REQ to get the report every time
