Aerospace Education Mission To educate both CAP members and the general public on the important role aviation and space has played and will continue to play in America’s future. l To encourage our nation’s youth to consider aerospace careers and to promote civil aviation to local communities. l

Aerospace Education l Civil Air Patrol aerospace curriculum and programs support science, math, language arts, reading, history, and technology education, while providing teachers with the tools to teach ordinary subjects in extraordinary ways. l Curriculum meets national academic content standards and addresses STEM (Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Mathematics) initiatives.

Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights l l l Free orientation flight in CAP airplane! To participate, contact jstone@capnhq. gov. Your name and contact information will be given to the TOP Flights Point of Contact (POC) in your area. The POC will contact you to plan a mutually-agreeable time and date for the flight. The TOP Flights experience will include an airplane orientation. Full AE workshops are also an option at times. Flights are more fun with a fellow teacher, so encourage a peer to join CAP and come flying with you!
