City of Redmond Bike and Pedestrian Count Volunteer Instructions Establishing Redmond as a First Choice Community for Residents and Businesses
Items to Bring to the Counts: 1. Instructions 2. Brightly colored shirt of jacket for visibility 3. Location map (provided upon sign up) 4. Count forms (please print two forms from home) 5. Clipboard 6. Pen or pencil (and a spare) 7. Watch or time to record 15 minute intervals 8. Return volunteer waiver to the City (email and scan is best) 9. Optional: hat, sunscreen, jacket, snacks, water, chair. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Setting Up • Once you’ve reached the site please ensure your safety. Be aware of your surroundings. • It is best to arrive at the site 15 minutes before the count period. Once you’ve arrived: 1. Find a safe location to conduct the counts. 2. Record the background information at the top of the count/survey form.

End of Count Once you are done, please return the completed form to the City by scanning and emailing it to: mike. caccavano@redmondoregon. gov or drop them off at the Public Works office at 241 East Antler Avenue in Redmond.
