L. A. W. Course Criticisms • Complaints about the quizzes. 164 – Complaints that the answer provided was graded incorrectly. – Comments about the Mo. Ab module being irrelevant. – Many learners indicated that there are multiple right answers to some questions. – Double negative in a question. – Content – General 318 survey responses – IT TELL ME MUCH ABOUT THE ANIMAL WELFARE. – Modules have not held my interest at all, especially the ones regarding the different governing bodies involved in the IACUC, ie. , PHS, AALAC etc.

L. A. W. Course Criticisms – Content – General – – – TOO MANY

L. A. W. Course Criticisms – Content – General – – – TOO MANY MOUSE CLICKS More details on farm animal welfare training vs rodent models. Some negative comments about some images. Too long Modules with less information/shorter paragraphs were more helpful. – Getting registered and starting the course was buggy and nonintuitive. – It is annoying that I get logged out after a certain amount of time.

L. A. W. Course Criticisms – Content – General – I thought the course

L. A. W. Course Criticisms – Content – General – I thought the course was well put together, but could have had a little more interaction. The modules held my attention fairly well. The software was easy to use. The quiz questions were well written and went with the information presented. – The course was good. I didn; t have any problem with the web site. I didn't see any erros in the content. But I got bored about the legal issues. – This is the first on line training course that I have taken and the thought of having to do so intimidated me. It turned out to be a very valuable training tool and I liked the immediate feed back on the correct answers. The only hard part was figuring out how to access a password as I am a volunteer community member and once I understood how to do that the rest of the course was easy to navigate. I am grateful for having taken this on line class.

L. A. W. Course Criticisms – Content – General – The modules were very informative. Some of them I feel are too technical for staff that is not involved in protocol writing. I found them usefull as a review. – They were very informative and the software was very easy to use. Very helpful! – The material was presented in a way that way very easy to read and understand important concepts were appropriately highlighted throughout the reading. The quiz questions were very reasonable in realtionship to the material.
