U 17 -21 -SWC ONLINE COACH/MANAGER INFORMATION POLICY STATEMENT – BODY SHAMING • Body shaming of players by other players or coaches or spectators is not acceptable and must not be tolerated. We are all individuals with unique characteristics that make us the people we are today. There is room for competitive banter on the field but when that banter leads to criticism of one’s shape, color, race, gender or other; then it is unacceptable. • If this type of negative activity is not stopped, we will continue to lose players from this beautiful game. • We must provide a safe and supportive environment for all players to feel welcome, thrive, and enjoy the game of soccer for life. • All coaches, spectators, players and the league must be part of the solution.
