CIPHER Fresno County Public Library Metrics December 2016 Fresno County Public Library’s website is the virtual presentation of our resources and services to the outside world. Nowadays libraries have transformed as information centers, learning centers, and training centers. Our website can serve as a workstation where a user finds databases, electronic resources and many services that we provide delivered to our customers’ desktops. Last year we had 3, 216, 768 people visiting our website and in this half of the fiscal year 1, 430, 912 people visited the Library site. In the month of December we had 70, 941 visitors to our website. CIPHER Fresno County Public Library Metrics October 2016 Pronunciator-In July 2016, Fresno County Public Library has added a new language learning database, “Pronunciator” to its electronic resources collection. “Pronunciator” is a fun and free way to learn any of 80 languages with self-directed lessons, live teachers, movies, music and more. It also offers the largest ESL curriculum with courses taught in 51 non-English languages, plus Citizenship course that is specifically designed for immigrants to succeed at the Naturalization test.
