New Site Soft Launch This Week From the old… …to the new.

Benefits of This Site Update • More Site Presence and Performance – Each UCA member site will have its own URL and brand – All sites will have graphic design treatment – Re-hosted to dedicated server for better performance • More Detailed User Account Management – Using Forms-Based Authentication (FBA) – Expanded configurability of Users, Roles, Groups, and Permissions – Cleaner implementation of Sharepoint security architecture • Better User Experience – – • Multi-level, security-trimmed tab navigation Password retrieve/reset Content subscribe/unsubscribe Starting point for better member communications Improved Document Searchability – Knowledge Base and Calendar Roll-Up to consolidate key documents – More metadata about documents • Adding Missing Functionality – Help Desk – Issue Management

Lastname(# if repeat) – Required for downloading documents – Allows quick start even if corporate payment is delayed – Interest areas will eventually be used for area-specific communication User Info • Interest areas Attendees at this conference should create accounts at www. cimug. mobi • Existing users can login or retrieve their password Login/Logout/Profile is all context-sensitive

Authentication and User Account Management 90% Test FBA and roll out accounts. Group Logos and Site Branding 90% Logo design complete. Mockups, color scheme, and style sheets complete. Working on images. Site Content 70% Existing document libraries migrated to new site. Rollup capability tested. Some content needed on key pages. Need to add metadata to existing documents and test search. Training Site 60% Training site hosted and available. Needs some configuration and testing. CIM Help Desk 50% Installed and configured template. Need to configure, test, and create FAQs. User Migration 45% Create new accounts and manage user migration to the new site. Model and Issue Management 30% Need to configure CIM model libraries. Need to configure issues management template. Discussions/Email Enablement 30% Evaluating software alternatives.
