CHURCH CARE I. DESCRIPTION: This is a ministry program of SELD that focuses in helping and strengthening the local churches and their respective leadership in order to ensure Church health and improvement which would eventually lead to Natural Church Development.

II. AREAS OF CONCERN: (Church must have) P. E. A. C. E. Presentable Edifice And Conducive Environment for worship. R. A. V. Readable, Attractive and Visible signage. L. E. A. D. S. Leadership Equipping And Developing of Skills S. P. E. C. Specific Programs Especially Contextualized for growth. E. G. P. E. N. C. I. L. The Existence of 8 Essential Qualities of NCD L. A. V. S. Loved by the community, Available for the community, Visible to the community and Serving the community L. A. F. U. M. E. R. (Internal Capability) Leadership Ability to Find, to Use & to Manage Existing Resources

Church Building (PEACE, RAV) • Size of Worship sanctuary • Conduciveness and presentability • Parsonage (Church extension) • Ownership (owned, mortgage, rented or free use) • Facilities and Equipment (S. S. Rooms, Kitchen, Office, Parking space, Parsonage, Bulletin board, Audio system, Musical, etc. ) • Accessibility (Strategically located)

II. Church Structure (SPEC, LEADS) • Size of Membership (Quantity has to do with capacity) • Average Attendance (Raising the bar) • Programs and Ministries (What are they? Why are they? ) • Leaders and Workers (Mentality and perspective? What are they? ) • Records and Reports (Is there a system? , Are they accurate & updated) • Vision and Mission (Are they clearly & visibly stated and posted? ) • Church Age

III. Church Capacity (LAFUMER, LAVS) • Membership capacity (Economic status of the majority members) • Financial capability • Maturity level of the congregation (Is there spiritual passion? ) • Community relationship (This include programs & projects)

VI. MEETING/ADDRESSING OF NEEDS: (Procedures) 1. What is the church doing about the need? (Leadership ways and means) 2. What is the capability of the church? (Look of your own internal resources) 3. What the division can do about the need? (Family sharing of resources) 4. The help and assistance from the District. (Augmentation & temporary assistance) 5. Networking with the allied ministries (Ministry Partners)
