CHRISTMAS customs On December 13 th people grow the weat in plates; if it grows high & thick - the next year will be wealthy and healthy! We buy pine trees, or artificial ones to decorate. Decoration is getting ready for Christmas trees. Stocking are waiting to be filled in.

PRESENT GIVING n n n On Christmas morning parents give children presents. We listen to Christmas carols and prepare together Christmas lunch We gather around the Christmas table In the afternoom we visit close relatives or friends We bring some Christmas presents for them: fruit, sweets, cakes or some liquer. Next day we wish our neighbours, friends and others all the best for Christmas

NEW YEAR celebration n n with friends & family, in hotels or homes, on town squares, too present sharing as for Christmas roast pork & fried potatoes, salad A lot of cakes on the table We wish each other: ’A happy New Year’ - Sretna Nova godina!
