Choose one homework activity each week from the menu below. The Peri-ometer shows the level of challenge the homework may offer. Try to attempt at least one Extra Hot task this half term. Remember if you have a fabulous idea of your own this is also fine! Write a leaflet all about pirates. Write a story about a pirate. Think about where they go, what they can do and who they meet along the way. Create a wanted poster for a pirate of your choice. Make sure you explain why they are wanted! Visit your local library and find books about pirates. Can you find any non-fiction books? Read these books and bring them in to school to share with your friends. Due each Wednesday In addition- Spelling practise (spelling checks every Friday) and reading homework daily! Design and make a maths board game about pirates. A pirate steals 10 treasure chests.
