Community Support • WDC Long Term Plan – submission process • 104 submissions support the project in principle

Controversy in the Community • A few local community members object to using allocated Kumara Endowment Funding for this project • KRT has actively provided the community & Council with the correct information

Westland District Council’s recommendation confirmed • $398 k allocated • Being $298 k for construction costs • And $100 k for long term maintenance (stays in the Fund long term)
