Clue: With this device Chinese population surged! • Actual Invention: The Seed Drill. • Invented during Han times, Plants the seeds at a consistent depth and covers them (birds can’t eat). The device made farmers’ job easier and highly improved the agricultural output in China.

Clue: his invention likely keeps many of you busy after dinner! Actual Invntion: Porcelain – A. K. A. “china” The first true porcelain was invented during the Tang Dynasty. It was slowly perfected over 1000 years. It became a highly prized luxury item that we still use today, more commonly called “dishes. ”

Obviously not only a Chinese invention, music in China was unique not only for the types of instruments and the sounds they play but also because China had the an Imperial Music Bureau to help organize “official” court and military “tunes. ” This shows that the Chinese Government knew how powerful music could be to motivate “the People” and make them happy.
