Was Mao Zedong all that bad? • Critics consider him a dictator comparable to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin who severely damaged traditional Chinese culture • They also see him as a perpetrator of systematic human rights abuses • And they blame him for an estimated 40 to 70 million deaths through starvation, forced labor and executions • If this is true, he’s the most successful murder EVER in human history

It has the most extreme personality cult in the world, in which people have been tortured and murdered by the government, for not crying loud enough at a funeral.
