Where is China? China is located on the southern hemisphere in southeast Asia. This vast country has six lines of latitude and four seas { the bohai sea, the huangshi sea, the east China sea and the south China sea. } You can also find China north of Thailand south of Russia. Surrounding/bordering countries are Nepal, Mongolia, Burma and South Korea.
What is the Weather like in Places? Inner Mongolia- The average weather here is around sixteen degrees monthly. Tibetan Plateau- Average winter temperature here is -48 Farihites. Taklamakan Desert- Average temperature here is 39 degrees. Shanghai- Average temperature here is 26 degrees celsius.
What are These Areas Like? Taklamakan Desert- It is the world's second largest shifting desert. A shifting desert has quicksand in them. Inner Mongolia- Has many cities and the population is 44, 835 Tibetan Plateau- Famous for having big snowy mountains. This place is known as the roof.
Some Rivers in China! Yangtze River- it is located near Shanghai, Huangpi, Whan and Yichang. There is a dam on the river and costed 2 billion to make. Pearl River- it is located near places like Hong Kong, XI, You and Zuo. This is China’s third longest river. Yellow River- it is located near Beijing, Shanxi, Ordos and Hohat. The river was named the river of sorrow.
Cities in China! A) Taiwan- Population=23. 78 million- Location of city=in the South. East of Asia- The city is famous for having the world's known best foods.
Cities in China! B) Hong Kong- Population=7. 451 million- Location of the city=South of China- The city is famous for its travelling and shopping.
Cities in China! C) Shanghai- Population=23. 4 million- location of the city=Asia-This is famous for being rich.
What Would you Ask about? How many traditional events are there each year? What is their day-to-day life like and what do they eat? Are the celebrations different depending where you live ?
Religion! China has many religions but the traditional ones are Buddhist, Protestantism, Islam and Tourism. China also has lots of holidays, I will name the main ones. The Chinese main holidays are New Year's Day, Chinese New Year, Qingming Festival, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid Autumn Day and National Day. There favourite holiday is New Year. Chinese New Year is a fifteen day annual Festival in China where all the Chinese communities come and celebrate it. You know when it is because you will see the new moon. I like the look of the Dragon boat festival!
