Administration of Automakers and Products Gazette Entrusted by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), conduct following issues: l l l On-site technical audit Drafting technical documents and managing the expert database Verification of the conformity of new vehicle types with already approved types Examining WMI/VIN (World Manufacturer Identifier/Vehicle Identification Number) Receiving and examining company application materials for gazette Testing organizations download data and testing program Company Testing organizations conduct the testing and upload testing reports Company Verify Sample vehicle Incomplete data Examine the test program and VIN Technical verification Data are received and fully examined Product publishing Company uploads data and testing methods for applying gazette Report to MIIT

Industry Work 第二部分 主要业务 IV. China Automobile Forensic Authentication Institute(Beijing) China Automobile Forensic Authentication Institute (CAFAI) is affiliated to CATARC. Authorized by national judicial and administrative division, CAFAI is ranked the first automobile authentication third party in China. Adhering to the principle of “Abiding by the law, Guided by science, Being Objective and precise, Offering premium service” , CAFAI complies with the requirements from national judicial and administrative division to complete every authentication project independently and impartially, and keep serving the whole society and securing the interest of people. Main authentication issues: • • Vehicle feature (performance, structure, configuration, etc. ) Vehicle quality and accidents caused by bad quality Traffic accidents Powertrain and component parts

Industry Work 第二部分 主要业务 V. Investment Consultation and Evaluation l Responsible for investment consultation and evaluation entrusted by NDRC and MIIT, and provide consultation and suggestions to the government on the investment projects. l Up to date, 36 consultation and evaluation assignments entrusted by NDRC and MIIT have been accomplished, including 22 new complete vehicle projects, 9 engine projects, 2 key component projects and 3 projects for National Engineering Centre and Laboratory. Evaluations on 43 investment projects from within the central government budget have been accomplished. 　Partnership with 　 FAW, Dongfeng Motor Corp. , GAIG. , SAIC, Chana Corp. , Changfeng Motor Corp. , Jiangling Motors Corp. , Chery Corp. , etc. .

Test 第二部分 主要业务 l l Investment budget: RMB 20 million each year; Independent, non-commercial; Having finished the assessments on 184 vehicle-types and will assess about 30 vehicle-types per year in future; The vehicle purchase and testing are independent from each other and we choose the well sold vehicles having entered the market in the past 2 years. Assessment results published through the following media: u u u Over 30 TV stations including CCTV，BTV, Guangdong TV, Tianjin TV etc. Over 150 print media including Xinhua News Agency, Science and Technology Daily, China Youth Daily, China Automotive News etc. Over 30 famous websites including Sina, Sohu, PConline, Xinhuanet etc.

Yancheng Proving Ground Strive to build the world class third party technology service platform oriented to the Chinese automotive industry l RMB 2 billion total investment per plan l 60 km total test tracks l The proving ground has all kinds of tracks and facilities that can satisfy the needs of certification test and R&D test for auto products ► 7. 8 km 4 -lane high-speed circuit ► Dynamic platform with the diameter of 300 m ► ABS roads with various attachment coefficients ► Performance road, dry and wet handling roads, noise test road, test hills used for high speed testing and all kinds of performance roads for regulation tests, comfort road, low attachment coefficient circuit, low attachment coefficient platform, off road track, general road track and simulated urban road.

Engineering Design and Management 第二部分 主要业务 VIIII. Engineering Design and Management Class A design qualification for national machinery industry, constructional engineering, engineering consultation and also Class A supervision qualification for building construction, investment project assessment qualification entrusted by NDRC.
