In this book it shared how women can do any career they want to do, even if it is done more by men. The book also shows that if you are committed to doing what you want to do, you can do it. Activity: The teacher could tell the importance about planting trees, and have the students get to take a tree home to plant at their house. What makes this book Multicultural? This book is multicultural because it helps students understand that no matter what sex you are, if you want to do a job you can do it. It helps kids to eliminate stereotypes like the ones that are mentioned in the book.

He then met his wife and had a child. Hiromi wanted to be a sushi chef like her father, but he knew that women usually did not do that. Papa taught Hiromi and she became an amazing chef. Activity: Sushi themed craft What makes this book Multicultural? This book is multicultural because it is about the Japanese culture. The book shares different ways that the Japanese are much different than Americans.
