Child Pornography Any form of media that involves sexual activity with an individual depicted of being under age 18. Illegal due to the fact that child who is still mentally and physically not adult is involved in the engagement of sexual activities

Moral Problem of Child Pornography Usually the idea of child pornography involves the actions of harassing of the “delicate” little children which is inhumane and immoral. These fragile social minority are harassed and tormented by an individual, usually adult man, who has more power and this scene is filmed by camera. Also, most forms of child pornography uses the idea of “discipline” of emphasizing that the sexual acts are not inappropriate and illegal. With treats such as candies and toys, the children are deceived into performing sexual activities in front of camera.

Internet Affecting Child Pronography As the internet and technologies are prospering and developing massively, the availability of child pornography has increased excessively. This had caused a problem in such way that child pronography can affect any viewer’s opinion about young children into thinking that they are sexual objects The serious offenders (producer, distributors, coercers, etc. ) are difficult to catch as the investigation has to cross jurisdictional boundaries. Cases of Child Pornography A 28 year old man faces multiple child pornography charges after Ottawa police raided his home on December 15, 2016. In mid June and late August this year, Ottawa police received information that an IP address in the area uploaded images of child sexual abuse. Police executed a search warrant at a home on Thursday. Images of child sexual abuse were found on a computer, police said. The man was arrested and charged with three counts of possessing child pornography, and two counts of making child pornography available. He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday. (Brown, 26).

Therefore, many pop stars involved in the entertainment industry have cute appearance and manipulate the voice of innocent baby.

Terms Related to Child Pornography As the child pronorgraphy is still developing in the dark aspects of the society, the new terms to describe such sexual affection towards little children. Lolicon - sexual attraction to young girls or erotic/suggestive art depicting prepubescent females. This term is believed to have originated from the novel, ” Lolita” which was one of the first forms of media that expressed sexual attraction to young girls. Shotacon - Sexual attraction to young boys who are generally depicted to be sexual minority in child porn. This term originated from the fact that the name “Shota” is the most common boy name is Japan.

Article 16 - Any child has the rights to privacy Article 19 - Any child has the rights to be protected from any mental and physical mistreatment Article 34 - Any child has the rights to be free from any sexual abuse Article 36 - Any child has the rights to be free from any form of exploitation Article 42 - Any child has the rights to understand their rights and freedom
