Work Experience Modules – Appointed CEP 4. Assessment Specifications - Appointed CEP and AQP C. Circulation and Verification of all work developed -all affected/relevant stakeholders D. Final Capturing on the QCTO tool E. Final editing and submission to QCTO for evaluation/ registration Ø NB: It could take between 4 -8 months or more to develop one Occupational Qualification

CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability THE CURRENT SCOPE OF WORK 4 x Trades • Welder – Credits were increased and 3 Parts were developed • Boilermaker – Credits and welding components were increased • Painter – new trade requested by the Speciality & Surface Coating being developed • Gas Practitioner – Part Qualifications and Trade being developed for the Gas sub-sector • Mobile Explosives Manufacturing Units : re-alignment in progress • Sales Representative ( Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices): re-alignment in progress • Chemical Manufacturing: re-alignment in Progress • Glass Forming: re-alignment in Progress • Melting Glass: re-alignment in Progress 13 x Occupations • Chemical Plant Controller – Revised to align credits and NQF Levels • Chemist: Surface Coatings Technologist – 5 x Part Qualifications being developed • Tank Farm Operator – 2 x Part Qualifications being developed
