About Omi Growing up he loved listening to hip-hop His passion of music came from his father that passed away when he was only 9 years old. He was influenced by many people; Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, John Legend, and Tanya Stephens He started in the music industry in 2009, and his first hit single “Cheerleader” took 5 years to make an actual song. His songs are now Urban pop, and he likes to include “beachy” and “summertime”
