Chart 2 DAF RCO Guidelines: When can I return to work? If you have been quarantined/self-isolated: In all cases the CAT must approve your return to work after meeting the conditions below I was quarantined based on travel or other increased risk activity Yes You may return to work 14 days after your return from travel IF you have not exhibited the following symptoms: Fever or chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea (If you exhibit symptoms, return to chart 1) I tested positive for COVID-19 or was told by a medical provider I am presumptive positive Yes If you were asymptomatic the entire time, you may return to work: -10 days after your laboratoryconfirmed positive COVID-19 test If you were symptomatic, you may return to work: -1 day (24 hours) have passed since “recovery*” AND -At least 10 days have passed since your symptoms first appeared I am quarantining due to exposure to a “medicalprovider-suspected” or confirmed COVID-19 case Yes If the individual you were exposed to tests negative or is told by their medical provider they do not have COVID, return to work. I was sick, but was advised by my medical provider that I am not a suspected COVID-19 patient Yes You may return to work in accordance with the guidance from your medical provider. If the individual you were exposed to was positive, you must quarantine for 10 days from the last time of contact, if you remain asymptomatic. A negative COVID test result, with a sample taken NET 5 days from last contact, will reduce quarantine period to 7 days, if you remain asymptomatic.
