This monkey’s idiosyncracy is its big nose.
An idiosyncracy of the fall is that the leaves change colors.
A person’s destiny is what is definitely going to happen to him. (Not everyone believes we have a destiny. )
It is the destiny of the people in the boat to go down the waterfall!
It is not Wilbur’s destiny to be killed for the farmer’s ham and bacon.

A doily is a fancy piece of crochet, or paper, that you put a dish or a cup on.
The cup is on the doily.
Something is incessant if it is done without stopping.
The rain was incessant. Everyone was wet.
