Characters: Props: The props used in here is a mirror. Costume: The antagonist is dressed in a dress which is ripped and ragged while the protagonist is dressed in causal clothes. Inside the mirror is the antagonist. I'm inferring that she is the antagonist because of at she is wearing and how she looks like. You cant really see her eyes because its all black and her clothes are all dishevelled and there is some rips. That suggests that she has attacked someone and that he one she is looking at now is her new target. Characters: The one looking onto the mirror is the protagonist. She is looking expecting to see her own reflection but she sees the antagonist staring at her… Location: The protagonist is put in a room with the mirror which is containing the antagonist. the room looks dark and it gives off an eerie feeling.

Connotation : The name of the movie is Ju On which means the grudge this is the Japanese version. Connotation & denotation : You can see at the top is part of the moon and that could tell us that something is going to happen. It also matches what the characters face is, which is scared. This is called pathetic fallacy. Character: The characters on the poster are the antagonist and the damsel in distress but there is no protagonist to save her from the antagonist. On the damsels face she Is clearly scared about the antagonist creeping behind her. Connotation : The begging of then end : this title is suggesting that the end of something is starting and this would attract people to it. Character : The antagonist hands are grown out long and they are bloody , she has bloodshot eyes and extremely white face with grown out hair that needs a trim. Location : They are put in a dark room and you can only see the main characters faces.
