DAVID
Nicene Creed I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
Mystery of Incarnation
The Gospels give us the record of the whole life of Christ from his birth, his miracles and teachings, his examples of love and compassion, to this passion and death on the cross and his glorious resurrection.

Paschal mystery
“The whole of Christ’s life was a continual teaching; his silences, his miracles, his gestures, his prayer, his love for people, his special affection for the little and the poor, his acceptance of the total sacrifice on the Cross for the redemption of the world, and his Resurrection are the fulfillment of divine Revelation” (CCC 561).
Discussion Questions for Chapter 7 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Why is belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God - and not merely as a wise teacher or social liberator- so central to Christian faith: How can you deepen your personal relationship with Christ? Identify concrete ways you can grow in your participation in the mystery of Jesus’ life, his teachings and his saving death and resurrection. “Who do you say that I am? ” is Jesus’ question to his disciples. Peter answers, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Mt. 16: 16). How would you answer Jesus’ question - “Who do you say that I am? ” If God took on our human nature in the Incarnation of Jesus, what does that say about the dignity of our human nature? How does the Good News of the Incarnation help us respond to challenges to faith posed by culture today?
