① Combustion (소각, 연소) – 가연성 가스나 악취물질 - malodorants such mercaptans and H 2 S - organic aerosols - combustible gases produced by refineries - solvent vapors * 촉매 사용시 낮은 온도에서도 반응 – 백금(Pt), 팔라디움(Pd) ▪ Thermal incineration (가열소각) - 직접불꽃으로 소각 (after burner 법) ▪ Catalytic incineration (촉매소각) - platinum (pt), palladium (pd), Co, Ni ② Adsorption - 고체 흡착제의 표면에 흡착시켜 제거 - 흡착제 = activated carbons : large surface to volume ration (비표면적) ; 활성탄, 알루미나, 실리카겔… (그림 10 -11) A simplified adsorption system - 효율 : 95~99% Air Pollution Sang-Ji University
