Components of Comm. Process l Context - The people, occasion, & task. l Physical Environment - Your surroundings are. Affects interaction & setting. l Climate - Emotional, attitudinal, and intellectual tone.

l Communicator - speaker creates meaning, sends and receives msg’s, & exchanges meanings. l

l Communicator - speaker creates meaning, sends and receives msg’s, & exchanges meanings. l Message - meaning, feeling, & general energy from communicators. l Channel - space where the message must pass. Method of sending the message.

l Noise - interferes or disrupts communication. – – l l Internal – inside
