Using Pesticides When pesticides will be applied: l Wait until you are closed for business and employees are off-site l Remove food and movable foodcontact surfaces l Cover equipment and immovable food-contact surfaces Afterwards: l 12 -14 Wash, rinse, and sanitize foodcontact surfaces
Storing Pesticides If pesticides will be stored on the premises: 12 -15 l Keep them in their original containers l Store them in a secure location away from food, utensils, and equipment l Dispose of them per manufacturers’ directions and local regulations l Keep corresponding MSDS on the premises
