How Public Opinion is Measured o Traditional public opinion polls n Determine the content phrasing the questions n Selecting the sample o Random sampling: a method of poll selection that gives each person the same chance of being selected o Stratified sampling: A variation of random sampling; census data are used to divide the country into four sampling regions.
