PRECEPT
PRECEPT INCREASE 1. The Precept 2016 £ 196, 235 [2015 £ 187, 546] ie + 4. 6%. 2. County and CDC Council Tax elements are capped - the Parish is not 3. The Parish is now taking responsibility for cutting all grass verges, hedgerows adjacent to footways and keeping clear all footpaths [in collaboration with Landowners]. An additional £ 5, 000 has been allowed in the budget for this activity 4. CDC free hour Blizzards Yard 2016 - £ 16, 021 p. a. [2015 - £ 9, 906 p. a] 5. These two alone are £ 11, 000 [increase kept to min of £ 8, 689] by cost savings in other areas 6. CSGPC Precept - extra burden for important existing services.
