What is Certification & Accreditation? Accreditation = Any North American Division Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook

What is Certification & Accreditation? Accreditation = Any North American Division Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook Entity that has a Planned Giving and Trust Services must be accredited. Being accredited means that program has shown that it adheres to the GC & NAD Policies regarding PG&TS and the 47 standards found in the PG&TS manual. Certification = An individual is employed by a SDA yearbook entity, has gone through the certification course and passed the final exam, has completed 30 hours of orientation and has kept up with the required amount of continuing education each year.

Those who… • Perform a job that includes the administration of planned giving and/or trust services. • Actively authorize, develop, or manage any part of the PG & TS function on behalf of the legal entity. • Serve as a fiduciary with powers granted under authority by policy, standards, votes, Last Will and Testament, or Trust. • Provide educational or instructive information as to how the donor may support your organization through planned giving.
