Tender is for CE design for Near, Far & Target Areas Tender does not include Primary Beam Extraction
Phases of Services Clause added to Tender Form to allow Contract termination after any Phase : CERN reserves the right to order all or part of the Services. In particular, CERN reserves the right to terminate the Consultancy Contract at the end of any phase subject to a one-month notice. Equally, the Consultant shall only proceed with a subsequent phase upon written confirmation from CERN within a minimum one-month notice.
The following is required prior to Phase One : • A fully integrated design developed inside CERN with all services incorporated (HVAC, EL etc). • Site Investigation for all areas. Only Target Area and Near Detector are complete at the moment. Far Detector requires permission from Authorities. • Environmental Impact Assessment Approved to allow submission of building permits.
