Hardware Updates • Production Database – Two multi-processor servers • Down time if a server fails = 0 seconds – Dependency on the IBM Storage • Multiple redundancies in its design • 1. 3 Terabytes and now at capacity – Tier 1 management by Sequel Services Limited – Purchased by the Business School
Hardware Updates • Internet Servers – Six (6) internet servers on order – Compatible with n. Deva and Web-team – Standard configuration and upgradable – Load balancing will be redeployed – 24/6 maintenance contract services being arranged – Purchased by the Business School
Hardware Updates • Citrix Server – Stabilising current system and upgrading licenses – Assistance from Faculty of Science • Staff Workstations – Replacement equipment for full-time Cecil staff – Cascading upgrades for part-time staff and the development system – Purchased by the Business School
