Catholic Social Teaching • Principles of CST: • Life and Dignity of the Human Person • This is the first because it is the foundational principle • Every human person has enormous Worth and is not greater than anyone else’s dignity • WE call this inherent dignity; it comes with being a human being

Catholic Social Teaching • Whatever is opposed to life itself, such as any type of murder. • Genocide, abortion, euthanasia or willful self-destruction whatever violated the integrity of the human person… • whatever insults human dignity such as subhuman living conditions, arbitrary imprisonment, deportation, slavery, prostitution

Catholic Social Teaching • the sale of women and children, as well as disgraceful working conditions where workers as treated as mere tools for profit rather than as free rand responsible persons; all the things and others of their like are infamies indeed.
