Lisinopril- Used to treat blood pressurel; avoid alcohol to avoid blood pressure from going abnormally low Breakfast Lunch Dinner Snacks Eggs, bacon, toast, oatmeal or cereal with 2 oz milk + 8 oz coffee with sugar and creamer MOW Lunch with 8 oz OJ Pork Chops, greens, sweet potato, cornbread, 16 oz of kool aid or tea Popcorn, Ice cream, chips or whatever else family gives her + 48 of water through the day
Diagnosis v. Excessive fat intake related to knowledge deficit of healthy oils as evidence by diet recall of high fat meat and snack choices
Intervention v Educated on decreasing salt intake, nutrition label reading, saturated fat, cholesterol, importance of appropriate fluid intake and benefit of regular physical activity such as chair exercises §Recommendations/Clinical Goals 1. Choose liquid oils over saturated fats 2. Exercise daily for muscle strength § Behavior Goal 1. To watch portion sizes for weight control
Monitoring/Evaluation v Follow-Up Phone Call § She is around the same weight §She watches her portion sizes sometimes but is still eating similar foods §Skips meals from time to time §Other than walking around the house it’s hard for her to get around
