What is Managebac? Managebac is a recording and learning platform for your IB. It enables students to plan and report and to communicate with staff. The use for CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is for an evidence and reflection portfolio of your CAS experiences.

What are the different types of CAS ‘experience’? • Single CAS experience (Minor) (5 stages of CAS may/may not be used) • Series of CAS experiences (Major) (CAS stages used) * CAS project (CAS stages used)

Remember!! • You must have: 3 PROJECTS!! You can have as many ‘majors’ and ‘minors’ as you like.

What are the four guidelines that should be applied to any proposed CAS experience? • Fit within one or more of the CAS strands (Creativity, Activity, Service) • Be based on a personal interest, skill, talent or opportunity for growth • Provide opportunities to meet the 7 Learning Outcomes for CAS • Not be used or included in the student’s Diploma course requirements
