COMPUTER SCIENCE WILL GIVE YOU THE SKILLS TO BE Be logical • Good foundation in logic will help with the skills needed for algorithms and coding when it comes to computer science. Be mathematic • When you’re programming functions and commands into computers, you need to understand the basis of all of that is in mathematics. Challenge yourself • Computing specialists test in real-life technical challenges Be calm in stressful environments • You need to be able to process large amounts of technical information quickly. Be creative • Being a computer expert doesn’t really mean you are restricted to one single method or practice. Broadly speaking the role involves setting up, administering, maintaining and upgrading communication systems, local area networks and wide area networks for an organisation.
