Link is the parent company, and provides corporate services (HR, Legal, Finance, IT etc. ), as well as Transportation Planning and Engineering services, to the Enterprise • Our head offices located at Sapperton station in New Westminster • Type of work performed by Trans. Link (10 Year Investment Plan, Transit Fare review, Planning of transit services, project management of major capital projects (e. g. Skytrain station upgrades, new Patullo bridge, Surrey Light Rail, Broadway Skytrain extension) plan and maintain cycling network)
Coast Mountain Bus Company • Coast Mountain Bus Company operates and maintains the bus services for the Lower Mainland, runs Customer Information call centre • Services are delivered from Transit Centres located throughout Lower Mainland (including Surrey, Po. Transit Operator (Driver) Opportunities • • • Conventional Operators Community Shuttle Operators Standard size buses High volume routes Full-time regular Class 5; must be able to obtain Class 2 Commercial Learners Licence with air brakes No more than 1 violation (3 points) in last 3 years and no suspensions/prohibitions in last 5. No more than 1 at-fault accident in past 3 years Must be willing to work shifts Subject to Driving evaluation, References, Criminal record check and Medical 6 weeks paid training • Smaller shuttle buses (24 passenger) • Lower volume routes • Casual employment to start, but can move to PTR or FTR • Class 5; must be able to obtain Class 4 unrestricted Commercial Learners Licence • No more than 1 violation (3 points) in last 3 years and no suspensions/prohibitions in last 5. • No more than 1 at-fault accident in past 3 years • Must be willing to work shifts • Subject to Driving evaluation, references, Criminal Record check and medical • 2 weeks paid training
