The Problem Covid-19 came to Canada Water/ Sewer/ Essential Services Winter/ Summer Capital Project Construction Capital Plan Impact Priority was community safety, everyone had to follow the safety protocols and guidelines The Band office had implemented State of Emergency. Public works and Housing were reviewed as an Essential Service Winter was ending and roads needed to be swept, grass cut, equipment serviced, etc. . Existing Construction projects were on going by the Contractor 5 year Capital Plan was placed to the side as Community safety is the priority Any new Projects were on hold September 02, 2020 3
Moving Capital Projects Forward During Covid-19 Community Capital Plan Follow the Capital Plan Identify and start Priority Projects Communication with Chief & Council, ISC, Keep the Community Engineers and Funders. updated on the Plan and Conference calls, emails, Funding as this will ensure all the necessary work projects are not a surprise before construction even and will help things move starts can be completed forward during Covid.
