Two recurrent situations Situation 1: briefing request Provide EU support in education in fragile states during the current programming period Defensive question: are we in line with Agenda for Change's objectives of engaging more with fragile countries?
Two recurrent situations Situation 2: EUD asking examples from other / similar / neighboring countries "I am designing a sector budget support in a uppermiddle income country. I'd like to get some inspiration" "The country is less interested about the money than the TA. I'd like to see how other colleagues did regarding the complementary support"
What you do so far You look for a similar previous briefing Other briefings are not really matching You asked DEVCO to look for our mapping Excel table You decide to give a case study but you have to look every line of the table to find out relevant ones You asked DEVCO B 4 to look into the country table to find who is following fragile countries Table is incomplete, not up to date, there are many figures but not the one you're looking for Colleagues are on leave, on a mission, on another urgent briefing You decide to ask to colleagues you met in the annual seminar (if still in the same position)to ask if they have fragile countries in your portfolio
