HOMEWORK NEWSLETTER ➢Reading log and a weekly newsletter will be run back to back each week. PLEASE read the Newsletter each week to find out important dates and information. This is due back on Fridays. ➢Homework will be sent home nightly M-Th. Homework is due the next morning after it is assigned. If homework does not come back complete and on time, it will result in an agenda mark for responsibility. Please work with your child on establishing a routine each night to ensure this is coming back to school on time.

HOMEWORK CONT… Homework expectations - Homework cannot be graded, but your child will be given an agenda mark if homework is not returned on time. - Math homework is T/Th and ELA homework is on M/W. Please note that all 3 rd grade teachers are teaching the same lessons, but the homework sent home may vary due to classroom pacing and needs. - Students are expected to read a minimum of 30 minutes each night, or do Istation at home. We will let you know when Istation is available. - Please look over your child's homework and assist with accuracy, completion, and neatness. We appreciate your support : )

Please keep it neat and easy to eat. • Cell phones must be turned off and concealed. • Birthday Celebrations (optional) will be allowed at the end of the day from 2: 15 -2: 30. Only store bought items/goodies can be brought in. Please let your child’s teacher know that you are coming at least a day in advance. • Please set up a conference if you need to speak to us about your child. Please do not conference with the teachers before school or during instructional time. ☺
