Introduction It is a well-know fact that Contact lenses have become a major culprit for eye health. Recently, the number of people using contact lenses instead of eyeglasses has been increasing, causing serious side effects, such as reports of cases of blindness. Currently, the population of contact lenses in Korea is between 5 and 6 million. It is a very useful means of replacing glasses, but misuse and abuse are considerable, from purchase to use. Above all, it is a big mistake to buy without prescription from an ophthalmologist. Especially, there is a growing risk among teenagers and young women, for example, wearing color lenses for cosmetic purposes, even though their eyesight is not bad. When contact lenses are worn for an extended period of time, the perceived power of the cornea may become insensitive. Most of the contact lens users do not feel well when the visual acuity deteriorates slowly due to ocular disease such as corneal disorder. This is why when the eye care provider finds that there is a problem with the eye, the condition has already become very worse. 2

Final marketing idea It has been decided with the group to create two separate photographic marketing campaigns, using the slogan “Picture This”. The first visual will be of a clown at a special occasion eg. His party on top of this visual is a picture frame of a close up of the eye (edited with a blind eye), the other eye will show special event with a coloured contact lense. The second visual again will follow the principle of the first but be a special effects makeup on a female potentially looking at targeting clients for wedding. Please see images on next slide of the mock up suggestions. 3
