“Caniculas” In Portugal we use the popular wisdom to do the weather forecast for all the year. This is called “Caniculas”, and the olders believe that they can know how could be de weather on the next year. We do it in August. “Caniculas” Em Portugal usamos a sabedoria popular para fazer a previsão do tempo para todo o ano. Isto é chamado “Caniculas”, e os mais velhos acreditam que podem saber como vai ser o tempo para o ano seguinte. Fazemos isto em Agosto.

The 1 st August is the prevision of the weather for August. The 2 sd refers to January, the 3 rd February and so on till the 13 th August that refers to December. So: Assim, no dia 1 de Agosto fazemos a previsão do tempo para Agosto. O dia 2 de Agosto diz respeito a Janeiro, o 3 a Fevereiro e assim até ao dia 13 de Agosto que se refere a Dezembro.
