Cancer Awareness • Are you aware that may cancers are now treatable if detected early? • Do you know the signs, or what to do if concerned? • Are you prepared to discuss concerns and worries with family or friends, or do you just evade this topic? • What are you doing to make others aware? Let’s all work together to stop people dying of ignorance. Over the next year we will be targeting a number of cancers starting with Bowel Cancer, but also highlighting other cancers in an attempt to get more people screened, but also aware.

Cancer Awareness • Why not get involved? • If you don’t wish to grow

Cancer Awareness • Why not get involved? • If you don’t wish to grow a beard or moustache how about donating or raising some money? • How about talking with family and friends about men’s health, and prostate/testicular cancer? • There are many leaflets or pieces of advice in surgery and online. • Is a friend or family member concerned or worried? Do they know the signs and carry out regular checks? • If you’d like advice then please speak with one of our Care Navigators, or one of our clinicians. • Did you know that Richard Cairns from our Patient’s Participation Group also has a group of people who are prepared to offer support?
