Iseg HV modules n n Tests performed in Milano, CERN, Iseg We built 8 load boxes (32 channels each) to do a systematic qualifying test of all modules at CERN: n n Iseg examined defective modules: n n opto-coupler failure in the regulation circuitry opto-coupler replaced (3 k. V→ 7 k. V) on 30 modules But origin of fault not fully understood New modules at CERN since May 9: n n n 1. 5 F and 150 k in series on each channel to mimic a typical calorimeter HV channel Long duration tests Boxes at CERN since last week Modules under test w/ and w/o load boxes at maximum voltage (2500 V) So far so good Unforeseen and very urgent activity CSN 1, 17 maggio 2005 Calorimetria EM a LAr di ATLAS 13
